The Quintessential Guide to Coventry’s best pasta eats

It’s National Pasta Day and we’re bringing you a list of the best pasta places in Coventry!

Sad Girl Autumn is up and running and what better way to wallow in your unhappiness than having All Too Well (10-minute version) on repeat and devouring a plate of scorching hot pasta. Whether you’re after some tomatoey goodness, a dab of pesto or devour your pasta in a salad, we’ve got carbs on lock!

So, in celebration of National Pasta Day, we’ve brought together a culinary compendium of our favourite cafes and restaurants with the best pasta dishes. In our minds you can’t fully ‘enjoy’ a self-pity party without eating your bodyweight in Carbonara.

1) Cafe Italia

A personal favourite of mine, Café Italia reigns supreme when it comes to pasta. With large portion sizes and sides galore, this café will quickly become your go-to for lunch. And best of all, there are halal and vegetarian options.

Address: 9-11 Trinity St, Coventry CV1 1FJ

Favourite dish: Seafood Tagliatelle

2) Sovrano Caffe

Our resident pasta connoisseur here at CovFeed, Cesar, spoke to customers outside of the café about their most loved pasta meal. Be sure to check out his piece in The Mix in Ellen Terry. We’re still waiting on Jane’s mum to drop her famous recipe 👀.

Address: 8 Smithford Way, Coventry CV1 1FX

Favourite dish: Spaghetti Bolognese

3). Ristorante Da Vinci

If you’re looking for something a bit more upscale with authentic Italian cuisine, then this restaurant is perfect for you! It’s both yummy and insta-worthy.

Favourite dish: Linguine con Frutti di Mare

4). Arco Bar and Ristorante

A cosy restaurant where you can pair a plate of ravioli with an oh so special Italian cocktail. Book your places for Christmas now, ladies and gents.
