The Sky blues tame the Tigers

The same week that Coventry City announced 11,000 season tickets, the Sky Blues achieved one of few away wins on the road this season, edging a 1-0 win against Championship strugglers Hull City. Who currently take up the last relegation spot, sitting 22nd in the table.

The 2000 Sky Blues faithful were treated to an early goal, from their number 24, Matt Godden: netting his third goal in as many games.

The win resulted in Coventry maintaining their fourth-place spot in the table, if they can keep this form up, a play-off place could be on the cards for the midlands side.

The Sky Blues next face Swansea City in a league clash, who are coming off the back of a dismantling of newly promoted Peterborough United.

Wasps get a well needed win

In Rugby news, the Wasps secure a dominant 27-17 win over Bath, who have lost their last 7 games. This win keeps them midtable and hopefully they continue this run of form.
