This is where Grace Beverley’s best-selling fitness app, SHREDDY, may be able to help. Grace Beverley created the female fitness transformation platform in 2016 during her time at Oxford University. With a large social media following, she has become very successful and is also owns sustainable activewear brand, ‘TALA.’

The app is available to download on the app store, and to become a member (or a ‘Shredder’ as they are called), it costs £9.99 a month. All with the tap of your finger, the app grants access to a variety of on-demand workouts to trainer-led workout videos, to gym guides.

SHREDDY APP ‘Workout’ Section

Choose from gym guides, on demand and real time workouts!

The first time you use the app, it will ask you to provide some personal data, and it will seek to find out what your primary goal is, whether that be to lose weight, get stronger etc.

Depending on the information you give, you will be presented with a selection of workout guides to choose from. If you don’t fancy heading into the gym right away, then it also has programmes that can be completed from the comfort of your own home.

To best fit your schedule, the app allows you to select between a 3-day, or 5-day workout split. Some guides give you the option of a 4-day split but not all.

Programme durations vary; typically you can expect to follow a programme for between 4 to 12 weeks.

As mentioned in the beginning, sometimes that dislike of high impact exercise may be off putting to some. When it comes to training styles, SHREDDY is not short on variety. You can choose ‘Transform’, with trainer Niamh, which focuses on hypertrophy training methods and short sharp HIIT circuits. You can select ‘Strong’, with trainer Oyinda, which is focused on strength training, or you can choose ‘Balance’, which involves yoga flows and Pilates sessions.

With any fitness journey, nutrition and a healthy, balanced diet is important if you are passionate about achieving whatever your goals may be. The SHREDDY app has hundreds of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes to keep you inspired. To accompany your workout plan, the app creates a meal plan for each day/week, and this is customisable to suit whatever you like and fancy!

The Shreddy app has helped over 400,000 people transform, and one of these people is Kerry-Hannah Jones, aged 32 from Leicester.

Kerry began using Shreddy around 6 months ago and says that the app has changed her life.

“I loved going to the gym back in my 20s. When I had children, I just didn’t have time to fit it in anymore and my priorities all changed. I just lost all interest in exercise, my day-to-day life is very busy. Last year decided to try and get back into it, but I didn’t really know how to go about it.”

Kerry found out about Shreddy through an advertisement she saw on Facebook and decided to try it out.

“I first got SHREDDY and chose one of their home guides to ease myself back into building up a routine. Having the option to workout from home has worked very well for me.

The app is great because it lets you decide how many days you want to commit to a week, and it lets you plan your workout to fit your schedule.”

She recently went back to the gym and is really enjoying the app.

“The results have been incredible. I feel so confident in myself, and I feel like I have gained my passion back. I decided to go back to the gym a couple of months ago and I’m currently on my third SHREDDY guide. I find it so convenient and easy to use, and I couldn’t recommend it enough to someone wanting to get into fitness!”

One of the in-app features that comes with SHREDDY is an ability to interact with other members through the ‘Community.’ You can chat with people in the app about all different things regarding the programmes, and just general tips.
