Wasps suffer second defeat in a row

Wasps arrived at Saracens with a depleted squad following a defeat to Exeter at the CBS Arena.
Saracens were on the back of fantastic form, after demolishing Bath 71-17 in a romp at The Recreation Ground. The have now tallied a total of eighteen tries in two games, making a mockery of most of their competition.
It was very unlikely that Wasps were going to make it a contest after their previous encounter, and at least twenty of their players either injured, suspended or just unavailable to Lee Blackett. During the first half, Wasps lost another four players to injuries, only thirty-five minutes in.
Similar to the case against Bath the week before, it was a very one-sided affair.
Saracens fullback, Max Malins ran the show: scoring four tries to crush any Wasps hopes, an eye-catching performance for Eddie Jones who often deploys him on the wing. Saracens Director of Rugby, Mark McCall, claimed “he is a very talented player and can play in a number of positions”. Backing Malins in his prospect for more England caps.
Ben Earl also got his name on the scoresheet, in the last minute of the game which took his tally to seven tries over the past two matches, including the hat trick the week before.
Wasps next opponents are Bath at The Recreation Ground looking to bounce back from such a heavy defeat at the hands of the league favourites.
