Citizen Housing is Working With Coventry City Council to Develop Neighbourhoods

On the 4th of May 2022, Citizen Housing announced that they would be working alongside Coventry city council to develop neighbourhoods.

St Michaels Ward which contains the city centre of Coventry, Hillfields and Charterhouse, is the area that is in main focus of the plans which, include fixing homes and cleaning streets to improve areas such as Hillfields as a whole.

In total there were 750 homes in the area that citizen housing was responsible for, and Coventry city council are responsible for the services that will be put in place for street cleaning after citizens raised concerns about the state of the area.

Citizen housing and Coventry city council estimated that the development of the neighbourhood plan would be completed in a month.

On the 9th of November Citizen Housing shared an update on Twitter which read ” The clean up has been done in response to customer feedback, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to reducing anti social behaviour across communities.”
