NHS Nurse Strikes: Up to 100,00 Set To Go On Strike

Nurses have been striking recently across the country. The biggest strike yet is set to take place on Thursday 15th and Tuesday 20th December and will include up to 100,000 nursing staff members.

They will be campaigning for a rise in pay of 5% above RPI inflation to overcome real-terms pay cuts which have left experienced nurses 20% worse off since 2010.

I spoke to some nursing students at Coventry University alongside a student paramedic to hear their thoughts on the strikes.
